ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS

I suggest that you take two pre-cooked meals for the first and second evening meals of a trip, as after that you will be more relaxed and prepared to do everyday things.

Tin Fruit, Fruit in Jelly, Creamed Rice, Long Life Cream
Carry one litre of Long Life Milk, just in case.

You will see that there is a large variety on the Super Market shelf that is packaged to help the “Travelling Public” that does not require hours of preparation or cooking .
For the Fridge.

Meat. Vacuum Packed keeps without freezing, & is available from many butchers
Smoked Chicken, keeps well available from Safeway’s Delicatessen & Meat Dept.
Corned Silverside Home Cooked, wrapped in foil NOT plastic, keeps very well.
Meatloaf or Rissoles, Minced beef, lamb, pork, veal, chicken or turkey, wrapped in FOIL
